Short Bio
I am a senior research scientist (directeur de recherche) at Inria Sophia Antipolis, France, in the project-team DIANA. I made two academic breaks: from 2000 to 2004, to join the startup Castify Networks as an architect and then CTO assistant, and from 2016 to 2020, to found the startup ElectroSmart.
I received my Ph.D. (docteur ès sciences) in Communication Systems in 2000 and my HDR (Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches) in 2012. I did my thesis work at Institut Eurecom, France, in Ernst Biersack's group, on multicast congestion control. I also received a master's degree in mathematics (maîtrise de mathématiques) from the Université de Nice-Sophia Antipolis, France.
In parallel, I provide in-company training in Python data science and data science consulting. My full career is on my home page.
